Iris App: Siri for Android

Dexetra announced the IRIS, the SIRIS competitor to Android!
After Apple announced the new iPhone 4S, equipped with the innovative SIRI, which is apersonal assistant, was not long until other companies intends to develop a similar system for other mobile operating systems.

As you may have noticed, IRIS is the reverse of SIRI, and that's not coincidence, since the application for Android aims to have some of the features that SIRI has on the iPhone4S. IRIS means Intelligent Rival Imitator of Siri.
IRIS is a software that allows your searches become much more intuitive and dynamic, since that you only need to ask the question, using your voice, to the smartphone, and it will answer to you what you want to know.
To use this service, you only need to have in the Android "Voice Search" active.

Here you can see how it looks:

And here you can see it in action:

On Android Market we can read:

"iris. makes your phone talk on topics ranging from Einstein to Mozart.
Yeah, Iris is siri in reverse. Inspired from the iPhone feature Siri, iris interacts with you in voice.
Gone are the days when you "Google searched" for information.
Just "ask" iris. She will talk to you on any topic. Ranging from Philosophy, Culture, History, science to general conversation.
Note: You need to have "Voice Search" and "TTS library" installed in your phone for iris. to work. Most of the phones have these pre-installed, if not please install them from Android market before you try iris."
